Mood boards are one of my favorite parts of the project because they are a great chance to explore new creative ideas. Most clients have a marketing background and will understand the purpose of the mood board, but I always make sure to make note of it. If I’m concerned about the lighting technique to get the perfect pizza photo, looking through images in my mood board allows me to pay more attention to the lighting technique in these photos. Mood board helps you achieve specific photography and food styling goals.
